  • GOCE: Global Geoid measurements (released 9/30/09)

    Whole-earth geopotential surface geometry showing deviations from a reference ellipsoidal surface. Note the most obvious features are those associated with topography (Mountains and Trenches), however large deviations exist particularly, on the edges of mountains, and in places like southern India
