Data from last 24 hours for station TLLS:

    Vertical Spectrogram
  • Yellow wiggle = Vertical seismogram
  • Blue-yellow-red region below seismogram = spectrogram showing relative energy at different frequencies with time. The hotter the colors (redder), the more energy in that frequency. Local earthquakes have energy across the spectrum, while distant earthquakes show energy only at lower frequencies (across bottom of plot only).
  • These images are normally filtered to retain signal between 0.025 and 1 hz (band-pass filtered between 40 and 1 second). This removes some long-period noise, and some building noise. Waveform is more sensitive to large distant earthquakes.
    Note: spectrogram is unfiltered.
    Timing
  • Data are listed by local time (with future hours being from yesterday)
  • Timing within plots are UTC (4-5 hours ahead of Georgia depending on Daylight Saving Time)
